| A Smartpur Centre works as a one-stop community service and development hub in rural areas. It connects people with government welfare schemes, digital services, financial inclusion programs, and livelihood opportunities. The centre conducts awareness programs, digital literacy and skill development trainings, supports youth in accessing employment opportunities, and empowers women through entrepreneurship and self-employment initiatives. It also assists farmers and community members in availing banking services, insurance schemes, and social protection benefits. By bringing essential services closer to the community, the Smartpur Centre helps improve livelihoods, promote inclusive development, and create sustainable opportunities for rural households. |

Centre Facilitator, VADAMADURAI.
R. Parimala, aged 27, is a B.Sc. graduate who was previously a homemaker. She belongs to a family of three members. Her husband worked as a daily wage labourer in a private company, earning around ₹15,000 per month, which was not sufficient to meet the family's household expenses. To support her family financially, Parimala was searching for a job.At that time, the REACHA NGO team, with the support of NOKIA, approached her and offered her the opportunity to work as a Community Facilitator at the Smartpur Centre in Vadamadurai Panchayat. She accepted the opportunity with confidence and dedication.Today, the income she earns has helped improve her family's financial condition and enabled them to lead a happier and more secure life. Parimala is grateful to REACHA NGO and NOKIA for providing her with this life-changing opportunity, which has not only strengthened her family's livelihood but also increased her confidence and respect within the community.
