The Smartpur Centre will serve as a community hub for Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) training and awareness. Regular training sessions will be conducted to build the capacity of local residents to prepare for, respond to, and recover from natural disasters, particularly floods, which frequently affect the Haridwar disaster-prone region.
The training will cover:
Disaster preparedness and emergency planning
Early warning systems and evacuation procedures
First aid and basic life support
Flood safety and risk mitigation measures
Community-based disaster response and volunteer management
Safe shelter management and relief coordination
Climate resilience and adaptation practices
The programme aims to strengthen community resilience, reduce disaster-related risks, and empower residents with the knowledge and skills needed to protect lives and livelihoods during emergencies.

The Smartpur Centre will organize Agriculture Training programmes to enhance farmers' knowledge, improve agricultural productivity, and promote sustainable farming practices. The training will equip farmers with modern techniques, digital tools, and access to government support services to strengthen their livelihoods.
The training sessions will cover:
Climate-resilient and sustainable farming practices
Improved crop production and crop management techniques
Soil health management and soil testing
Efficient water management and micro-irrigation methods
Integrated pest and disease management
Organic and natural farming practices
Use of modern agricultural equipment and digital technologies
Government agriculture schemes, subsidies, and crop insurance
Post-harvest management, value addition, and market linkages
The programme aims to increase farm productivity, improve farmers' incomes, build resilience to climate-related challenges, and promote sustainable agricultural development in the community.

Under the Smartpur Project, we serve the entire community of Mundakhera Kalan Gram Panchayat, Laksar, with a special focus on underserved and vulnerable populations. Our beneficiaries include: Rural households Farmers and agricultural workers Women and girls Children and youth Senior citizens Persons with disabilities Students Job seekers and entrepreneurs Low-income and marginalized families The Smartpur Centre provides convenient access to essential digital, government, educational, healthcare, financial, and community services, reducing the need for residents to travel long distances and improving overall quality of life in this remote and disaster-prone region.
